50 Years of Growing Local
In 1976, Ron Hewitt started growing and selling sweet corn. Fifty years later, we're celebrating the farm, the people and the community that have helped make Hewitt's what it is today.
What started with sweet corn has grown into so much more. From summer jobs and roadside stands to Linda's scratch baking, pies and butter tarts, so many memories have been made here over the years.
Today, Ron's son Trevor continues what his dad started, carrying that same commitment to family, hard work and community.
We're proud of where we've come from, grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey, and excited for what's still to come.

Roadside Stands
Hewitts Roadside Stands operate depending on seasonal produce and weather. Stands all have local Ontario produce and some baked goods. Each stand is a little different.

Hewitt's Farm Market & Bakery - More than just corn stands!
Hewitt's family farm provides a full farm experience! Our year round farm market store offers fresh produce (Ontario when in season) year round and seasonally fresh picked corn right from the farm. Hewitt's carries all your shopping needs with a focus on “Quality-Homemade-Local”. Whether you come to pick up fresh baked from scratch pies, tarts or cookies made in our bakery or farm fresh fruits, vegetables or pumpkins, you are sure to be treated like family. Spend the day in our incredible Fun Farm playground area filled with farm animals, a giant sandbox, cart track, our climbing combine, giant slide and more, Hewitt's is sure to make your day a wonderful experience.
Pop in to our Farm Market Store, open year round any day of the week, for some fresh baked treats and the highest quality in produce, locally raised meats, fresh farm eggs, Sheldon Creek & Kawartha Dairy Products and Empire Cheese’s to name but a few items!
The Fun Farm offers acres of outdoor activities and incredible memories for young and old alike and is conveniently located just behind the Farm Market Store.
